Alex and Lisa met years ago at NDSU—both having been involved in Chi Alpha, one of the campus ministries at the university—but sparks didn’t start flying until August 30th, 2018. Alex asked Lisa out on a date and Lisa, who had already been interested, said “yes” to a walk in Lindenwood Park. The date turned into matching mugs filled with hot chocolate and marshmallows paired with Mom’s zucchini bread and needless to say, Lisa was swept off her feet. She even has the journal entry to prove it, where she wrote: “There was so so much that I really really liked about Alex.”
And wow, can we just say that there was so so much that we really really liked about their wedding?! Between the bride and groom, their host couple, and the staff, the entire day was beyond amazing—with an EXTRA shout out to Greta for being the best “step-in wedding coordinator” probably ever! If the florals didn’t make us feel like we were in a tropical rain forest in the middle of North Dakota, then nothing could have, and can we just say that there is no doubt that Alex is IN LOVE with his bride. We’re so happy they have found the one they each have been praying for and fully believe the vows they made are blessed by God!
Lisa made a STUNNING bride and in addition to her own, she wore her mother’s wedding rings, which was the absolute sweetest touch to an already impactful day.
It wasn’t just Alex and Lisa’s wedding day but also the anniversary of her step-mom and dad as well as the best man and his lovely wife. We wish you all many celebrations together in the future!
Lisa + Alex,
You two are ON FIRE with both your love and your faith. We believe that while individually you are rockstars, together you’ll accomplish more than you can even imagine. Thank you for letting us document this important step in your relationship!
